The course database is open. Take it.
20 110 clubs, 1 321 with drawn holes — tees, greens, fairways, hazards, par, index and lengths — derived from OpenStreetMap and corrected by the clubs that keep their pages. Released under the Open Database License, the same one OSM uses.

Read-only, JSON, no key, from any origin. 60 requests a minute anonymously and an hour of cache; keys on request for more — say what you are building. One course carries shapes: every polygon on it as a flat ring of latitudes and longitudes, the map's and the club's own merged into one list.

To correct something
Geometry: edit OpenStreetMap; we redraw within a day. Facts: the club's steward edits them here, or “Report an error” on the club page.
What we never publish
Nothing about a person. Stewards' names and emails stay private; a golfer's rounds appear on a club page only if they chose so in the app.
