YŪGEN

Golf already has a score.
YŪGEN gives it a skill tree.

A bucket of balls normally vanishes the moment you leave the range. In YŪGEN it lands: XP earned, skills levelled, a rank climbed, a streak kept. Practice that accumulates into something you can see.

The promise

“Show me I'm getting better — not just that I practised.

The loop

Log it. Get the honest read. Earn it. Watch it grow.

1

Log what you hit

Snap the launch monitor, plot shots on the range map, or just say how it went. Whatever form your practice takes, there's a way in.

2

Get the honest read

YŪGEN reads your numbers, flags the likely mishits, and tells you what the session actually says — good news or not.

3

Earn it

You review the read, drop the shots that shouldn't count, and accept. Only then does the XP land. You stay in control of your own record.

4

Watch it grow

Skills level, your rank climbs a 24-step ladder, quests complete, the streak holds. The work stops disappearing.

Six ways in

However you practise, it counts

You just hit balls — getting that into the app should take seconds, in whatever form you have it.

Launch-monitor screenshot

TrackMan, Toptracer, Arccos — snap the screen and YŪGEN reads the table for you.

Plot shots on the range

No launch monitor? Tap where each ball finished. Instant scoring, no waiting.

Putting green

Made or missed, distance and lag — short game earns its keep too.

Enter the numbers

Club, carry, a couple of sliders. Ten seconds between swings.

Log a round

9 or 18, your score, the course. Rounds feed the same record.

Voice note

"Driver felt long today, wedges thin." Say it — YŪGEN listens and files it against the right skills.

The game

Your golf, as a game worth playing

Not points for points' sake — a structure that makes the long, slow work of getting better feel like it's going somewhere.

A real skill tree

Nine skills across four tiers — driving, irons, wedges, short game, putting and more. Each levels on its own evidence, so your strengths and gaps stop being a feeling and become a map.

Ranks & levels

XP rolls up into levels, and levels climb a ladder of 24 rank steps, from Novice upward. Every accepted session moves the needle; the ladder shows exactly how far to the next title.

Quests & achievements

A starter quest chain gets your baseline established, and achievements mark the moments that matter — completed automatically as you play. No claim buttons, no chores.

A streak that fits golf

Golf is seasonal. YŪGEN's streak is built around showing up over the week — not punishing every rain day — and comes with freezes for when life happens. One bad stretch doesn't erase the story.

Yardage book that builds itself

Every logged shot feeds a per-club book: your real carry, your real dispersion, and whether the number in your head matches the number in your bag. In testing

What to practise next

After a read, YŪGEN points at your weakest skill and hands you a drill for it — from a hand-written catalogue, deliberately not AI-generated sludge.

Why the XP means something

It scores the pattern, not the highlight

Anyone can flush one. YŪGEN rewards doing it again — ten shots held in your window count for more than one screenshot-worthy bomb. Repeatability is the signal that survives the first tee, so repeatability is what earns.

And the read is honest both ways. Likely mishits get flagged, you choose what counts, and when your dispersion widens the app says so — because a tracker that only reports good news is a tracker you stop believing. That honesty is exactly why levelling up feels earned.

Sessions

One range trip, one story.

Compete

Something to play for, people to play with

Progress is better with witnesses — and someone just ahead of you on the board.

Leaderboards, four ways

Everyone, Friends, your Club, or your handicap bracket — across boards for progress, streaks and shot quality. Results boards rank what you hit; XP boards reward showing up. Both are stated, so you always know which game you're playing.

Challenges

Rotating community challenges scored automatically from your evidence — best improvement wins, not raw distance. Join, keep practising, and the board takes care of itself.

Friends, quietly

Share your friend code, follow each other's progress, and react with Respect, Fire, Challenge or Rematch. YŪGEN never posts for you and never messages your contacts — bring the people you actually play with.

Working with a coach?

Your coach can see the practice, not just hear about it.

Practice with intent.

YŪGEN turns scattered reps into a story of getting better.
